“Cold hands, warm heart”. This little phrase – cold hands – from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set made me think about my mother. She used to say that all the time. My hands were constantly cold. I was always cold when I was small – come to think of it I still am. That’s not easy when you live in Arizona! 🙂
That little phrase inspired this card.
I love this stamp set and the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch that completes the Bundle. The images are just too sweet and there’s another stamp set in the Holiday Catalog that coordinates: Cookie Cutter Halloween. You can bet the mummy and vampire will grace some of my Halloween cards!
- I let the Designer Series Paper (DSP), Candy Cane Lane, do a lot of the work for me in designing this card.
- I cut the two houses from one sheet of the paper and the gumdrop from another. That saved time.
- I used the Cookie Cutter Builder punch on the gingerbread man and his bow tie. He is stamped in Soft Suede ink on Crumb Cake card stock and his bowtie is Real Red card stock.
- The houses and the gingerbread man are adhered to a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and that is backed by another design from the same DSP, all on a whisper white card.
Altogether, this card took about 20 minutes to make.
